Laser Technology for the Industry
ACunity GmbH is a high-tech incubator of the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT in Aachen.
The company provides domestic and foreign customers complete solutions for the production chain in the fields of high-speed laser metal deposition, laser welding and additive laser manufacturing, including equipment and hardware development, process development and international research and development cooperation. The headquarters of ACunity GmbH is located in the Photonics Cluster of the Fraunhofer ILT and thus benefits from a local and close-knit network of recognized experts in laser technology.
Advanced manufacturing technology
ACunity (Tianjin) Co. Ltd. was established in 2018 in Tianjin Binhai TEDA to provide products and services for the Asia-Pacific region related to advanced laser manufacturing and Industry 4.0 technologies for digital manufacturing. The company established research and development centers for laser manufacturing technologies as well as production and processing centers in both China and Germany.
Research and progress
ACunity GmbH is working to industrialize advanced laser technologies and processes and is continuously researching their potential applications in many industrial sectors.
